Winter Style with We Love Colors!

Hey everyone!  I know it's been a long time since I have blogged.  I have been struggling the last month with my anxiety, depression and the winter weather compounds some of these things.  After a visit with my therapist and scheduling to see my Dr I feel much better and I am ready to get back to blogging! It has been CRAZY here in Michigan for the last few weeks.  I managed to fall on the ice which put me out of commission for a couple weeks with a sprained ankle then that was immediately followed by some of the craziest winter weather we have had in years.  Michigan actually declared a state of emergency due to snow, negative temperatures and ice storms that knocked the power out in much of our area.  Ah, Winter, it is beautiful but treacherous!

Effortless Elegance! My Review of the Kiyonna Sunset Stroll Bellini

 Today, I am reviewing the Sunset Stroll Bellini from Kiyonna.  The Sunset Stroll Bellini is a lightweight wrap style cardigan with a hidden drawstring at the waist that allow you to adjust it to fit your personal style.  Wear it cinched closed as a comfortable gathered sweater or layer it as a cardigan over a tee shirt for warmth and style.  This lightweight cardigan is stylishly versatile, style it simply for cute and casual days or dress it up for effortless elegance at work or on a date.  The Sunset Stroll Bellini comes in a variety of seasonal colors so you can add just the right touch to your wardrobe.  I am wearing the Sunset Stroll Bellini in Black Noir, a staple piece in my wardrobe, this flattering cardigan is a must have to top off cool weather outfits.  I love the Sunset Stroll Bellini for fall in Michigan!

 I am wearing the Kiyonna Sunset Stroll Bellini in size 1x.  The cardigan is very generously sized and since it is made of soft stretchy Jersey, it has a lot of give.  This top is comfortable, cozy and easily adjustable so it always gives you the perfect fit.  I love the 3/4 length sleeve, they cover the arm but can be pushed up if it gets warmer.  The length is also great, the bellini comes just below my bottom, this gives me the desired coverage to hide my tummy which I am a little self conscious of in jeans.

 The Kiyonna Sunset Stroll Bellini looks adorable over maxi dresses or my vintage outfits but I decided to take a leap into the modern day with this look.  I rarely wear jeans, but this adorable cardigan was perfect for layering over jeans and a tee shirt for a busy day of meetings followed by a romantic fall walk in the woods with my husband.  I wore it with a Halloween printed long sleeve tee, fitted boot cut jeans, gold hoops and leopard print accessories to give it a stylish edge, I love the casual elegance of this outfit.  I wore my Sunset Stroll Bellini cinched closed for the day and later I adjusted the drawstring and transformed it into a cute cardi that gave me just the right amount of warmth for a walk in the autumn chill.  It was a fun and welcome step away from my normal ultra feminine vintage style.

The Kiyonna Sunset Stroll Bellini is a versatile wardrobe must have that is sure to get tons of wear.  Dressed up or down it's the perfect topping for every outfit.  I love that I can get both figure flattering dresses and fashionable separates from Kiyonna, they have something to fit every style!

Moody Blue! Introducing the Karina Dresses Megan Dress in Blue Moon Print

 Today, I am introducing the beautiful Megan Dress from Karina Dresses.  Part of Karina's new Moody Blue collection, the Megan Dress is an old favorite in the new Blue Moon signature print.  This dress is an instant classic!  I love the vintage feel of the design and the Blue Moon print makes is an eye catching little number that is both comfortable and chic.

 I cannot gush enough about how much I love the Megan Dress.  This style fits my vintage aesthetic to a "T", it is flowing and super comfortable while being incredibly stylish with minimal effort.  Some days I just want to grab a dress and go, as soon as I put it on this Megan Dress it instantly became one of my favorites.  This will be a dress that I can wear at home for comfort but it can be dressed up and endlessly accessorized so it can be worn anywhere.   The Megan Dress is a V-neck with a defined waistband, pretty gathered sleeves and a flattering flared knee length skirt.  This dress is so slimming, the V-neck style flatters and enhances the bodice, tapering and defined at the waist, then the flared skirt gives a curvy shape that looks great on everyone!  Karina uses the most wonderful microfiber blend material that breathes, stretches and resists wrinkles so these dresses travel easy and look great right out of the bag.  I am wearing a size XXL, it fits just right with lots of stretch for comfort.  I love that the skirt is large enough to accommodate a petticoat, it adds a lot of retro flair to the dress and gives me extra layers of warmth in the wintertime.

 I am also absolutely enamored of this gorgeous new signature Blue Moon print.  A lovely deep teal blue background with semi circles of sky blue, soft grey and cream, this simple geometric pattern is stunning!  Blue Moon has beautiful colors to accessorize.  I chose simple complementary accessories so I could really let this dress shine.  It was a lovely day with blue skies and we still had a dusting of snow, even the Michigan winter weather matched my dress.  I am wearing one of my favorite flower crowns, cobalt resin hoops, a petticoat and simple vintage black heels but the Megan Dress in Blue Moon is the star of my outfit.  I cannot stress how flattering this Megan Dress is and the Blue Moon print takes it to the next level of sophistication.  Karina Dresses are timeless, versatile, stylish and easy to wear, I am thrilled to have this Megan Dress in my wardrobe!
